Simplex RCG506 – 55 ton Capacity, 5.91 in Stroke, Single Acting, High Tonnage Hydraulic Cylinders
Simplex RCG506 and RCG Series Hydraulic Cylinders are built for heavy load applications, making them ideal for heavy-duty civil engineering applications. These powerful single acting, load return cylinders use the weight of the load to return the cylinder plunger to its starting position.
Each RCG Cylinder is manufactured using advanced technologies and undergoes rigorous testing to ensure complete safety and maximum performance.
The cylinder exterior is finished with an enamel coating to extend cylinder life, and a wiper protects the inner cylinder assembly from dirt, moisture, and other contaminants.
- High tonnage capacity for heavy-duty applications
- Simple load-return design
- Mechanical end of stroke avoids over travel at full pressure.
- Replaceable wear bands improve seal life and side load capacity.
- Custom strokes and capacities up to 1000 ton available on request
- Optional tilt saddles.

- Load tested under 125% of the nominal capacity
- For working pressures up to 10,000 psi (700 bar)
